WHAT IS “My Greener Future”?

My Greener Future is the name of Bill’s multi-media coaching network, which includes this blog, his Handbook, and his career coaching services. 

WHAT’S A “JOB SEARCH STRATEGY”?

Your Job Search Strategy is a compelling plan to optimize your value in the marketplace. Every individual has a unique background and set of experiences, so each Job Search Strategy is unique to you.  Your strategy must be individually tailored to your specific career goals.  Each job search must be custom-designed to fit the strengths of your past performance, geared to the career direction that best fits you. 

WHAT’S A CAREER COACH?

Career coaches understand the job search process, the marketplace, and the alternatives that are possible for success.  A career coach is a professionals who has “been there, done that”, and can assist others to be successful. 

WHY DO I NEED A CAREER COACH?

Everyone needs a professional set of experiences to demonstrate new alternatives to reach your career goal.  The difference is by degree.  Some only need a Handbook, while others will benefit most with a step-by-step coaching program with a professional.  Some transitions are difficult (like a major change in industry, sector changes like from military to civilian, or responsibility) or are time-demand sensitive (being unemployed, having to find another job quickly, or caught in a merger or career-changing situation).  Different situations need different strategies and approaches.

Each of these examples is a major career change and requires unique strategies to succeed.  The implications are dramatic.  A lack of understanding can be devastating. 

WHO ARE THE TYPICAL CUSTOMERS FOR COACHING?

There is NO typical customer! Our customers range from recent graduates, to people in the middle of their careers, and even to executives.  As well, they come from different industries (for-profit, non-profit, and public sectors) and have different needs. Some customers are young professionals at the start of their career path and are ready to take on more challenging job roles.  Other customers are uncomfortable with the fit within their current company, and want to work for a company with a particular corporate culture.  A few customers may be executives looking to make a mid-career change.

No matter the stage of your career, a coaching relationship can make the difference between the level of success and the length of time to secure your next level of advancement. 

WHAT ARE THE MOST COMMON ISSUES FACING OUR CUSTOMERS?

There are basically two issues a customer faces:

  1. A lack of understanding of systematic and successful ways of approaching the marketplace. The same old ways don’t work. Customers need the most powerful strategy and results in the shortest period of time.
  2. No one to learn from or talk to, who has the expertise to help with their efforts. No one understands their issues, the key skills they need, or the targeted opportunities they should pursue. 

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE OF PURCHASING THE HANDBOOK VERSUS COACHING?

The Handbook is for those individuals who can put their own Job Search Strategy together and succeed in the marketplace with little help, as the Handbook, by itself, does not include any coaching.

Coaching, on the other hand, is designed for those who need that extra bit of help to design, implement, and succeed with their own Job Search Strategy. Coaching support falls into two different levels:

  • Level One is the most basic, where customers identify the areas where they want specific help, and the coaching is tailor-made to address them. The cost is less, at only two payments of $297 over a two month span.
  • Level Two is the full-service coaching program, and includes all aspects of the Job Search Strategy. It is both a deep and broad program of customer-designed coaching, which only ends when the customer accepts a new job. The cost is three payments of $397 over a three month period. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT PRICE POINTS TO VALUE?

The greatest value is in the full service-coaching program.  The cost is fixed while the hours for coaching are variable.  The amount of coaching time is dependent upon the Job Search Strategy and the amount of time to find a job.  The value is in the time spent by the coach, the unlimited time of coaching that is available to you and the coach being available until you find another job. 

CAN YOU GUARANTEE THAT I’LL GET A JOB?

Only you can guarantee your own success! We can guarantee that you will be better prepared, more knowledgeable, have a greater understanding, more skills and insight at the completion of the program.  This is assuming you do the hard work of practicing the skills outlined, complete the assignments at the end of each session and follow the guidelines of the strategies. We cannot guarantee anything we do not have control over.
